Olympic Stadium East Stand 'Kop'

jthere's a story about West Ham having a veto if Spurs do wish to ground share the OS -
Thats not a new story - but embedded in the page is a computer generated image titled
"How the Olympic Stadium East Stand Kop would look".
Why would West Ham even consider naming one of their stands in any Stadium a "Kop" ?
Pls let it be journalistic licence and not a leakage of plans already made.
And yes i know that historically there were 13 Spion Kop stands in the old Football League,
but NONE of them were at our ground.

Kop ends were so called as a remembrance of the British soldiers who had died in the Boer war battle of Spion Kop.
It was the vogue at the time these stadia were developing. This gives us the opportunity to name various areas of the OS. Don't let us fall into line with what the marketeers want let us the posters on this Board lead the way. Let's come up with names relevant to local and current events.
